  2.     ABOUT YOUR APPLE LASERWRITER PRINTER SOFTWARE FOR WINDOWS 95

  4.     This document describes how to setup your Apple LaserWriter
  5.     printer on a system containing Windows 95.
  6.  
  7.     For a Windows 95 system this floppy disk contains the software
  8.     you need to setup these printers:
  9.         Apple LaserWriter 16/600 PS
  10.         Apple Color LaserWriter 12/600 PS
  11.         
  12.     Follow these steps:

  14.     1. Click on the "Start" icon of the Task-Bar and select
  15.        "Settings" and "Printers".
  16.  
  17.     2. Double-Click on the "Add Printer" icon and follow the
  18.        instruction prompts of the "Add Printer Wizard".
  19.  
  20.     3. The list of known printers appears in the "Add Printer
  21.        Wizard" window. Insert the diskette labeled
  22.        "for Windows 95" into the floppy drive and press the 
  23.        "Have Disk" button. Then, press "OK".

  25.     4. A menu allowing you to choose either the Apple Color
  26.        LaserWriter or the Apple LaserWriter 16/600 PS appears.
  27.        Select the desired printer model and press the
  28.        "Next" button.
  29.  
  30.     5. Continue to follow the prompts of the "Add Printer
  31.        Wizard" to select the port, enter a name for the printer,
  32.        indicate whether it should be the default printer, and
  33.        optionally, to print a test page. Press the "Finish"
  34.        button. The needed files are copied from the floppy
  35.        disk to your system. This completes the installation.

  37.     Note: Please setup network client first if you want to
  38.     install the printer as network printer. You may select either
  39.     Client for NetWare Network from Microsoft or Novell NetWare
  40.     (Workstation Shell) as your network client.
